Meet Emmett Skyy, Louisiana-born, now West Coast-based singer-songwriter & creative. Growing up, Emmett didn’t necessarily fit into the box of the environment that surrounded him. Searching for that next chapter, he packed his bag and headed out west in search of purpose, passion, and opportunity. Join us on the road with Emmett as we talk style, travel memories, and what Will Leather Goods means to him.

What does authenticity mean to you?

Authenticity to me is being genuinely true to who you really are. Allowing nothing to relinquish you from yourself.

What or who influenced you as a child, and how has that carried on into who you are, how you dress, and how you act, today?

My parents were a great influence on me as a child. They instilled spirituality, creativity and so much style into me, without fully knowing it. They created a healthy environment for me to pursue my art and passions. I carried those principles into every aspect of my life. Those principles gave me the ability to navigate around the world, around so many different cultures.

How would you describe your personal style?

My style is Desert, rocker, & cowboy.

What’s something you’ve recently discovered that you wish more people knew about?

Because of a near death experience, I recently went though… I wish more people knew to slow down and spend more moments in quiet solitude reflecting and gaining a deeper understanding of themselves.

When you think of Will Leather Goods, what’s one word that comes to mind?

Craftsmanship is the one word that comes to mind when I think of Will Leather Goods.
