We take pride in being as environmentally conscious as possible. We believe in, and incorporate this idea of reusing and recycling across every aspect of our company. From our hides, to the materials we source, to the decorations and fixtures we use in our stores.
Kantha Quilted Reversible Totes
One of the great things about working with artisans across the globe is the ability to find amazing, old, vintage materials to repurpose and bring back to life in our products. Our favorite examples of this is our African Indigo Surplus Duffle, our Kantha Collection, and our Oaxacan collection.

"I search high and low to obtain these war-time relics with the intent to breathe new life into them and save them from the landfill." - William Adler
Military grade gear and materials must surpass the highest testing standards before they reach the field to ensure flawless performance. After use, the military collects the items, creating a surplus of these field-tested pieces. When asked, Will said, "I search high and low to obtain these war-time relics with the intent to breathe new life into them and save them from the landfill." Tent shelters, duffels, cots, rucksacks and medic’s bags have all been salvaged by Will Leather Goods in order to bring you repurposed durable goods from the highest-grade materials.

We then move to our Kantha and Oaxacan collections for more, vibrant examples of discovering and repurposing materials. Industrious workers at sari factories in India would take home the scraps of fabric and build them into panels, using a "Kantha" stitch to make quilts - a necessity for comfort and warmth. On a recent trip to India to practice meditation, Will brought home 200 vintage Kantha quilts and designed reversible totes; to show the beauty of each side of the panels. Another

The Zapotec people of Oaxaca, Mexico have a weaving tradition that is seventeen centuries old. When Conquistadors introduced sheep and looms, the process and materials changed, but the intrinsic bold geometry and natural-hewn colors carried on to the present day. Our Oaxacan Collection is created using hand-loomed wool rugs which are strengthened by leather panels that direct weight and wear away from the fabric to ensure these usable works of art serve you beautifully for years to come.
